  3. This doc describes the program PCX2CEL version 1.0, but I guess
  4. you've already figured that out... :)
  5. Well, I wrote the program for myself... I needed to convert
  6. pictures to the .CEL format.. and do you know what? There
  7. isn't any programs to do that! I searched the Internet for some
  8. but, no... there were none to find! So, I decided to write one
  9. myself, and I did. After that I decided to give this lame thing
  10. to the rest of the world, maybe there's someone who needs a program
  11. like this.. or, maybe not. If you want animated CEL files, mail me
  12. and I MIGHT fix it.

  14. So this program is dedicated to us, who not own Autodesk Animator.
  15. The program is lame, I have just included support for the Z-soft
  16. PCX files to load.. if someone wants other file format support,
  17. than email me and I'll fix it for ya.
  18. Also, the CEL-header isn't fully correct.. all the coordinates
  19. + the file size isn't correct... but it doesn't matter. It works anyway,
  20. as you don't use the header. I think. Oh.. and the file doesn't do ANY
  21. error-checking... sorry but I'm lazy! ;) There's isn't much errors
  22. to do.. just remember to:

  24.  ■ Give the program correct files ( no extensions, on legal drives )
  25.  ■ Store the three files (pcx2cel.exe, pcx2cel.dat, pcx2cel.fnt)in the
  26.    same directory, and start the program IN this directory.
  27.    DO NOT PATH IT!!! (It won't start). I'll fix this if anyone wants,
  28.    mail me. :)
